Laser Wart Removal Treatments in Bakersfield CA - Plantar Foot Warts Removed

Warts On Your Feet? Not Good. But No Worries! Bakersfield Foot Doctor Can Now Zap Them With the Most Effective Wart-Removal Laser Available.

Other people might not see the warts on the bottom of your feet, but youdo, and you know they are ugly. More important, you know they are very often painful.

Seriously. No one wants warts.

Caused by a virus, warts, once embedded, feed off your blood supply and progressively grow and multiply. Large warts on your feet, or clusters of warts on the bottom of the foot (often referred to as plantar warts), can really become a serious problem. They aren’t comfortable. And they can certainly make walking or playing sports painful.

Unfortunately, getting rid of warts has almost always proven a challenge. (Until now, that is!) Plantar warts are tenacious and can be wildly difficult to get rid of. They are extremely resistant to just about every treatment you can throw at them, whether medication or acid or freezing, even when combined with regular scraping, cutting, digging, gouging …

And still, all too often, they just come back anyhow. They continue to spread. They continue to grow.

Some patients, with especially bad cases of warts, come to believe there is no solution. And hard to blame them when nothing ever really works, even after months or years.

But in Bakersfield, CA, everything is changing when it comes to wart removal.

An exciting new piece of technology — in a very specific form — has made destroying warts surprisingly simple. This new treatment involves the use of a highpowered laser. But this is not just any laser. In order to effectively knock out warts and destroy them for good, it requires a specific kind of laser, and it has to pack a heck of a wallop.

Putting it more specifically, the laser needs to be able to destroy the virus while at the same time cutting off its blood supply so that it cannot survive.

One particular laser does this job of wiping out warts quite well. It is called an Nd:YAG long-pulse laser. And the Nd:YAG laser in Bakersfield, CA, in the offices of Dr. Jim Malone, with California Foot and Ankle Doctors, takes it a step further, with a few very specific traits enabling it to destroy warts in only one or two short treatments. The combination of these traits makes the procedure not only effective, but quick and easy.

This is not your ordinary laser wart-removal.

Lasers have long been used in getting rid of warts on the feet, but these lasers were cutting lasers, requiring many treatments, all of them leaving your feet bleeding and in pain.

That is NOT what we are talking about here.

If you live near Bakersfield, CA, you can enjoy a far better, far superior technology in treating your warts.

- No cutting.

- No bleeding.

- No walking around with sore feet afterward.

Why is that? It all comes down to the laser technology at work. And with this particular laser, it comes down to two bits of science (in case you are curious):

The Two Bits of Science That Set Apart The Laser at California Foot and Ankle Doctors in Bakersfield, CA (If This Sort of Thing Interests You):

First, the proper Nd:YAG laser for wart treatments will make use of the 1064nm wavelength. This particular wavelength ignores skin pigment (also called melanin), making it safe on all skin types and allowing it to penetrate the skin and pass on to where, in the case of treating warts, you want the energy to build: at the blood supply feeding the virus. The 1064nm wavelength targets hemoglobin and uses the blood supply beneath the skin to cook the virus dead, while at the same time cutting off the blood to the warts altogether. Too many lasers on the market make use of ineffective wavelengths, which either build up heat on the surface without penetrating to the actual blood supply feeding the wart, or simply fail to create enough heat to get the job done. And this takes us to the next point.

Second, the proper Nd:YAG laser for wart treatments needs to be a true long-pulse laser. The pulses of laser energy being delivered need to pour in at a slow enough rate to fully heat the full volume of the blood supply being targeted. This longer pulse duration allows for substantial, full heating of the blood at the base of the wart. Too many of the lasers on the market today have very short pulses (typically less than one millisecond). You can almost think of these as doing nothing more than splashing small amounts of energy on the wart without building up the kinds of real heat required to truly kill it off for good. A full-on long-pulse laser truly effective at this treatment will make use of a much longer pulse duration (or pulse width), typically between 25 to 45 times longer than the other lasers out there. And that is how you pack the punch you need to knock out a wart and put it down for the count.

The laser at Dr. Malone’s office in Bakersfield, CA, can deliver the correct kind of energy, across the ideal wavelength, at the exactly correct degree of penetration, and all this combined with the appropriate duration needed to effectively and consistently destroy warts — all usually in only one or two treatments.
